How to Clean Temp Internet & Cookies Profile in XP
Temporary Internet files are stored on the computer by Internet sites to speed up how long it takes for their pages to load the next time a user visits their site. Cookies can retain passwords, user IDs and specific preference information for a site. Both temporary Internet files and cookies are added to the computer in hopes of making it easier for users to return to sites. Deleting these items will simply cause the user to have to manually enter in their password and user ID, and make the site load a little slower than normal. They are convenient, but not essential.
