Instructions

    • 1

Trace cookie cutter shapes onto a plain tablecloth. Use stars and bells for an elegant adult party. Fill the shapes in with gold and silver glitter pens or craft paint. For more casual parties or children's parties, you can trace snowmen and candy canes onto your tablecloth. Let the children color the shapes with fabric markers in the same way they would decorate Christmas cookies.

Hang four holiday plates horizontally across the wall in your kitchen. You can also use small Christmas dishes to hold soaps and Christmas finger towels that guests use in your bathroom. Tie candy canes to decorative plates and arrange them across your mantel above your Christmas stockings. If you have several, you can give the plates with the candy canes to your guests as parting gifts.

Fill red, green, silver and gold tulle swatches with cinnamon sticks, cloves, dried oranges and cranberries. Close the fabric swatches above the fillings you choose with rubber bands. Cover the rubber bands by knotting white ribbons around them and form a bow. Tie them around door handles.
