1. You have to look at your life and ask yourself how am I going to find time for God? The answer is easy, but you have to be willing to take the step. The first step to finding time for God is to make a schedule. This schedule will show you how you spend nearly every moment of your days.

2. To find time to spend with God, you have to make God a priority. On your schedule, God has to be at the top of the list. I am a stay at home father of two and I work full time at night. I had to sit down and schedule my day to find time for God, my children, my wife, and myself. On my list, God has to come first. I read the Bible every morning when my (three year old daughter) and I am eating breakfast. If I don't put God at the top of my list, I will forget to spend time with God.

3. While I am working at night, I drive for hours in my car. On some of my deliveries, I shut the radio off, and I pray to God. This is a time when I am alone with God. It is peaceful and the daily routine is not getting in my way.

4. There are other ways you can spend time with God. You can throw your favorite Christian CD in your stereo and sing praises to God. If you have the talent to write, you can write a poem or song about God. The most important thing is to prioritize. Finding time to spend with God is not hard when you put Him at the top of your list.
