How to Get Ready for Date
Need to get ready for a date with that special someone? Here's how!

1
Confirm your date. You don't want to get blown off! Make sure you write down where you are going, what you are doing, who you'll be with, and any phone numbers you will need.
-
2
Pick out an outfit. Make sure it's not too dressy if you're only going to the movies, but if you're going out to eat make sure it's not too casual. Above all, make sure that whatever you are wearing is comfortable.

You want to be nice and clean. Use a nice smelling shampoo and conditioner and use a scented body wash. Wash your face, and clean up more than usual. You want to impress your date. Shave your underarms and your legs. Even if you're not wearing a skirt, it's always nice to shave them just in case.
-
4
Apply your make-up.
-
5
Don't cake it on, but rather make it look nice and natural. If you have blemishes try using a concealer or foundation. Add some blush on your cheek bones and apply the eye shadow to your eye lid. Don't limit your make-up to this! Add some creativity to it, use eyeliner, mascara, etc. Whatever you want! It's your face!
-
6
Get dressed. When putting on your outfit, try not to smear your make-up. Take out any wrinkles your outfit might have and if you find a stain, quickly rinse it out.
-
7
Brush your teeth and style your hair. The last thing you need it a piece of broccoli stuck in your teeth from lunch. Use a mouthwash afterwards and pop in a mint or two or maybe a piece of gum to freshen your breath. Style your hair the way you want to. If you can, style it so it compliments your face and, if you're really good, your outfit.
-
8
Be patient. If your date doesn't show up right away, that's fine. That gives you more time to prepare. Pop in another mint or think of what you're going to say. If your date is 15 or more minutes late, try a phone call. If they don't answer don't panic. If your date still hasn't showed up in a half an hour then it may be time to call it quits.
-
9
When on the date, don't worry! No date goes perfectly so don't worry about it.
-
10
Chew minty gum for 2-3 hours before the date, and spit it out at least a hour before your date. Gum makes more saliva which is not good for your breath so put in a mint before your date. This way, you don't have to worry about your breath
