Find inexpensive jars at secondhand stores and garage sales. Collect your supplies. Count the number of guests who are attending and get enough jars and stickers for each of them with a few extra in case of breakage or mishaps. Look through thrift stores and garage sales for jars and ask your friends to keep an eye out for jars as well. Buy enough candy or nuts to fill the jars. Remember that wholesale is always cheaper.

Use markers that compliment your wedding colors. Write a message on each of your stickers. You may want to include your names and the date of the wedding or just a simple "Thank you." Use markers that coordinate with your wedding colors. This can be very time-consuming. Consider asking your wedding party to help you. Affix stickers to the top or the front of the jars.
