How to Get Radio on Your iPod Touch
Radio is an application that is available from the App Store on your iPhone or iPod Touch. It enables access to more than 40,000 radio stations in the world from your device. To use the application, you must be connected to a Wi-Fi network and have the iPhone OS 3.0 software update installed on your iPod Touch. Additional features of Radio include background play, which allows you to browse the web through the application while the radio station continues to play, and Facebook integration.

Press the Home button on your iPod Touch and slide your finger against the screen's arrow to unlock the device. Tap the Settings icon on your screen, tap the Wi-Fi button, and slide your finger over the OFF switch to change it to ON.

Tap your network from the available list and enter the network password. Tap the Join button in the lower-right corner. Press the Home button to return to the home screen and tap the App Store icon.

Tap the Search button at the bottom of the screen's window and tap the search bar. Type Radio and tap the Search button in the lower-right corner of the screen. Select the Radio search result, tap the $0.99 button, and then tap the BUY NOW button.

Enter your iTunes password and tap the OK button in the dialog box to begin the app download. When the download is finished, tap the Radio icon on your home screen and tap Directories at the bottom of the screen to search for radio stations by category. Or, tap Search to find a specific radio station.
