How to Apply Smart Cover to Dark Tattoos

Smart Cover is a brand of makeup that is specifically formulated to cover tattoos, scars, and skin imperfections. The concealer kit comes with 10 pieces. The makeup is waterproof, long-lasting, smudge-proof, and does not clog pores. If you need to cover a tattoo for work or a special occasion, then you can try to conceal it with makeup first before you resort to expensive and painful laser surgery.

Instructions

1. Choose from the "Light" skin color kit, which matches light, medium, and dark beige skin, or the "Dark" skin color kit, which matches golden tan, dark, and deep beige skin colors. Pay the $29.75 fee. The kit comes with powder, brushes, concealer makeup, moisturizer, and foam applicators.

2. Squirt a dab of the moisturizer onto a foam makeup applicator and wipe the skin over the tattoo with it. The moisturizer helps the coverup makeup stick better and last longer.

3. Squirt a dab of the coverup makeup onto a clean foam wedge makeup applicator. Dab it over the tattoo and see if it matches the skin tone. If not, add a squirt of another shade to the foam wedge.

4. Dab the concealer over the tattoo so that you cannot see any of the tattoo underneath.

5. Dab a big bristled brush into the powder compact. Lightly brush the powder over the concealer to help "set" the makeup.

• You can also use Smart Cover on scars and facial imperfections.
