How to Send Emails to the UK

The process of sending emails to the United Kingdom is no different than how you would email individuals residing in the United States. The only difference is the email address itself. Email addresses from the UK hold the format [e-mail], instead of the U.S. format, [e-mail].

Instructions

1. Log into your email account and start a new message. Type in the UK email address in the "To" field on your new message.

2. Type a short phrase into the "Subject" line that summarizes what your message will be about. Begin typing your message in the "Body" field of your email.

3. Read over your message and edit as needed. Click the "Send" button to send your email. Most email servers also archive your sent messages. After an email has been sent, it should automatically appear in your Sent folder. If you do not see the new message in your Sent folder, try resending the message.
