How to Decorate a Bedroom With Japanese-Style Pictures

Instructions

1. Use pictures of koi fish, a fixture in Japanese culture. The pictures should not be photographs but actual artistic prints. A neutral background with touches of red or orange is ideal. The pictures should be small to medium in size and clustered on one wall.

2. Add prints that showcase water in your bedroom. Water is often incorporated into Japanese decor. Add one or two large prints in your room, framed in black. Some examples include a lovely pond with water plants in it.
