How to Remove Soap Scum From a Tile Shower Floor

Soap scum builds up on tile showers over time. The more the shower is used, the faster the soap scum builds up. Vinegar removes the soap scum naturally without causing any harm to the tiles, drains or environment. When the vinegar is rinsed down the drain, it also helps clean the drain. When cleaning shower tiles, it’s important to scrub the grout in between the tiles. Soap scum builds up in the cracks.

Things You'll Need

• Vinegar
• Spray bottle
• Scrub brush

Instructions

1. Pour vinegar into a spray bottle.

2. Spray the soap scum until it is soaked with vinegar.

3. Scrub the soap scum with the scrub brush.

4. Rinse the surface with water.

5. Repeat, if necessary.
