1. Choose the embassy you wish to contact. America has a presence in most countries worldwide. Visit the website for the U.S. Department of State, Usembassy.gov, for a complete list of the embassies with links to each website.

2. Click on the "Contact Us" link. This link may be located at the top of the page but in most cases you can find it at the bottom.

3. Select a method of contacting U.S. embassy personnel. This page usually lists an email address, a telephone number, a fax number and a mailing address.
