      Launch Photoshop and open the document to which you'd like to add your signature.

      Select the brush tool from the toolbar. Click the drop down box next to "Brush:" in the options bar at the top of the screen. Drag the slider to set the diameter of your brush size.

      Click the foreground color in the toolbar. Choose a color from the color picker that you want to write your signature in.

      Write your name in the document window with the cursor by clicking and holding your mouse and writing out your name.

Tips & Warnings

  • Using a pen tablet to write your name instead of a mouse tends to be much easier and makes for a cleaner looking signature. It is recommended that you use a pen tablet.

  • Use a brush diameter of less than 5 to make your signature look more like it was written with a pen. If you want it to look like it was written with a thick marker or crayon, use a larger diameter.
