How to Extend a Visa in Manila
Since stays allowed under Philippines visas are relatively short, you may need to apply for a visa extension to prolong your time in the Philippines beyond the 21 days authorized by your initial visa. Typically, visas are extended for an additional 38 days. The Philippines Bureau of Immigration processes and approves requests for extensions. The Bureau of Immigration charges additional fees for visa extensions. These fees vary depending on your visa type. A request for an extension does not guarantee that your visa will be extended.
