How to Post Items to Sell on eBay

The popular Internet shopping site eBay allows people to search for and buy a seemingly infinite amount of used and new items. Many eBay users also sell items on the site. Moreover, as a member of eBay, you can even create your own store. In order to make a good sale, you have to create effective listings that can attract potential buyers.

1. Register on eBay for a seller's account. You do not have to pay a fee to do this. You have to provide some personal information to register on the website. You will also select the method of payment for your seller fees.

2. After you have registered, click on the "Sell" tab at the top of the web page.

3. Click on the "Start Selling" button. Type in three words that describe your item in the "Find a Matching Category." Then click on "Search."

4. Select one category from the search results that describes your item most suitably. Click "Continue" after selecting the category.

5. Write the name, description, and price of the item you are putting up for sale. Include a picture. Click on "Save and Preview." You will then see a preview from which you can correct any mistakes.

6. Click "List Item" and your item will be up for sale on eBay.

• Write a thorough product description and title. This will help potential buyers find your listing. You can also create a subtitle for detailed descriptions that appear in eBay searches.
