Things You'll Need

  • Small square or rectangular tin
  • Wax paper
  • Tape measure
  • Gloves
  • Rice paper
  • Scissors
  • Oil control loose makeup powder

Instructions

      Clean your tin with soap and water. Dry the tin thoroughly.

      Lay a sheet of wax paper onto a flat surface. Working over wax paper will make for easier clean up.

      Measure the inside width and length of the tin.

      Put on your gloves. Without gloves, you may transfer oil from your fingertips to the rice paper.

      Cut your rice paper according to the measurements of your tin.

      Sprinkle a small amount of loose powder directly onto your wax paper.

      Lay a piece of rice paper onto the loose powder and sprinkle more on the top.

      Pick the piece of rice paper up and shake lightly to remove any excess powder.

      Lay the rice paper into the tin and repeat with remaining rice paper.

Tips & Warnings

  • An empty mint tin is good size and shape for holding oil blotting paper.
