How to Tie Ribbon Bows & Loops

A floral bow consists of a bow and loop pattern that produces a beautiful addition to a gift. This bow consists of several quick, easy-to-follow steps.

Things You'll Need

• Length of ribbon
• Bow tying wire
• Scissors

Instructions

1. Pinch two sides of the ribbon together to make a loop in the middle. The closer you pinch the sides, the smaller the loop will be.

2. Repeat this process in increments, making each loop slightly larger than the one before it. Leave enough spare ribbon to make the tail of the floral bow.

3. Stabilize the center of the bow with the bow tying wire. This will ensure that all the loops stay in place.

4. Spread out the loops so that the floral bow becomes more three dimensional.

5. Using scissors, cut the tail end of the bow at an angle.
