Importing GPS data into Google Maps takes two steps

There are no direct ways to import GPS data into the Google Maps interface but by using the Google Earth software, you can achieve a GPS to Google Maps conversion in just a few simple steps. Map data and directions stored on your GPS device are saved in the GPX format and are fully compatible with the Google Earth application. All recorded information attached to your GPS maps, directions and tracks are imported into Google Earth and from that point, you can save the data in a format readable by Google Maps.
