How to Become a Bail Agent in Ohio
Over the years, shows like "Dog the Bounty Hunter" have made the life of bounty hunters and bail bondsman or bondswoman seem exciting and intriguing, and an increased number of people want to pursue such a career. In Ohio, becoming a bail bondsman or bail agent does not happen overnight, and the process involves enrolling in classes to first obtain a license, then applying to open bail agent positions in the state. Some states have no commercial bail, and thus have no need for bail agents, but Ohio is not one of them.
