How to Create a Flash Movie With a Transparent Background
A Flash video is simply a video made with the program Adobe Flash. It is an animation program often used to created web content, animated cartoons and other items. A transparent background means you won't see the background of the movie. Making a video in this program takes plenty of time and practice, but if you want a transparent background, that is an easier task. The transparent background is just a matter of selecting the right options within Adobe Flash.

Launch Adobe Flash and create your video as you want it. Set up all the audio, and fill in the frames with content of your choosing until you have your video ready and the only thing that remains is to make the background transparent.

Click on "File," "Publish Settings," "HTML Tab." Next to the words "WMODE Setting," select "Transparent" as the option.

Click "Okay" and publish the movie so the transparency can take effect. Click on "File," "Publish." This will publish the Flash movie. One of the files it publishes in will have .HTML at the end of its name. This file is the one that will have the transparent background when played in certain web browsers.

Tips & Warnings
Not all web browsers support a transparent background. Be sure to test your video in a variety of web browsers before you actually use it professionally, so you know what browsers will support its transparent background.
