Tips & Warnings
For a more elegant, sweet cocktail, wet the rims of your martini glasses with a cut blood orange and dip them in caster (superfine) sugar. Finish the drink regularly.
For more orange flavor, you can use orange-flavored vodka if it is available. Try it both ways and see which you prefer.
Orange liqueur is easy to find. The most common types are triple sec and Mandarine Napoleon. Make sure to use high-quality triple sec if that is what you decide to use. It will make a difference in your drinks.
