How to Make a Rapid-Fire Marshmallow Gun

A marshmallow gun can provide hours of fun, shooting edible bullets at your friends and neighbors. What's even better is having a marshmallow gun that you don't have to reload after every marshmallow fired. Making a rapid-fire marshmallow gun is easy and inexpensive, requiring only some PVC pipe cut to size and a little know-how.

Things You'll Need

  • Hacksaw
  • 3 feet of 1-inch straight PVC
  • Four 1-inch PVC T-pieces
  • Two 1-inch PVC elbows
  • Three 1-inch 45-degree elbows
  • Two end caps

Instructions

    • 1

Take your straight piece of PVC and, with the hack saw, cut one 12-1/2-inch pipe, four 4-inch pipes, two 3-inch pipes, three 1-inch pieces and a 2-1/2-inch nub.

    • 2

Insert one of the 1-inch nubs in to the left side of one of the T-pieces.

    • 3

Stick the 12-1/2-inch pipe out the other side of the T-piece.

    • 4

Take another T-piece and connect it to the inch nub that's sticking out the opposite side of the first T-piece.

    • 5

On your newly installed T-piece, put a 1-inch nub coming out of the top opening and attach a 45-degree elbow. This will serve as your mouthpiece on the end of the marshmallow gun.

    • 6

Put one of the 4-inch pieces coming out the other side of the T.

    • 7

Add a 90-degree elbow so that it points down and then add 2-1/2-inch nub.

    • 8

Add another 90-degree elbow so that your piping is now pointing forward on the gun. Add a one-inch piece to the inside of the elbow.

    • 9

Add a 45-degree angle going up toward the main barrel of the gun.

    • 10

Add another of the 4-inch pieces to the 45-degree angle piece and then the other 45-degree angle to that so that the piping is running parallel to the main barrel.

    • 11

Create a gun grip by taking a T-piece and adding a 3-inch pipe to one side and a 4-inch pipe to the other side. Add an additional T-piece to the end of the 4-inch pipe and add two 3-inch pipes coming out of the bottoms of the T-pieces for handles.

    • 12

Place the handle into the 45-degree elbow so that it runs under the main barrel and then attach your end caps to the bottoms of the gun grips.

    • 13

Add the additional 4-inch pipe to the T-piece on the top of the gun to give you a place to hold multiple marshmallows for rapid-firing.

Tips & Warnings

  • Lay out the marshmallow gun before you glue it to make sure you have everything you need and know how to put it together.
