Tips & Warnings
Maintaining your lawn with weekly cutting and a pre-winter cut to keep the grass low and the lawn aerated will help retard the growth of fungus. Remove snow in shaded areas to help dry out that section. Trim back tree branches if fungus is a real problem. Eliminate shaded areas as much as possible without ridding your yard of the beauty from the vegetation that grows. Water your lawn in the morning so that the sun has a chance to dry the lawn during the day. For shaded areas, water sparingly.
