How to Delete a Win32 Crypto Virus Manually

The Win32 Crypto Virus is a Trojan downloader. This means that once it is installed on your computer, the virus can download and install additional viruses without your knowledge. In addition, the Win 32 Crypto Virus can slow your computer and cause it to crash. Running an anti-virus program may not get rid of the virus, in which case you will have to remove it manually.

Instructions

  1. Delete Infected Dynamic Link Library Files

      Click on "Start," and then select "Run."

      Type "cmd" into the box and then click "OK."

      Type "regsvr32 /u gaopdxbkwtjirt.dll" (without the quotation marks) and press "Enter."

      Type "regsvr32 /u gaopdxxyeoopy.dll" and press "Enter."

    Delete Infected Files

      Click on "Start."

    • 6

      Click on "Search Files and Folders."

    • 7

      Search for and delete the following files. To delete a file, simply right-click on it and select "Delete":

      "C:\windows\system\gaopdxxyeoopy.dll"

      Update your anti-virus program and run a scan. This will remove any malicious files you may have missed and help prevent future viruses. If you do not have an anti-virus program, consider downloading or purchasing one.
