How to Change a Song's Metadata With Zune
The Zune media player is more than an audio player--the device also plays videos and displays pictures in a slideshow format. The digital media player, manufactured by Microsoft, also lets you modify the name, artist and other information, known as metadata, connected with the songs and other files loaded on the player. The metadata displays while the song, video or other media plays on the Zune device.

Connect your Zune player to your computer with the device's USB cable; the player's control program automatically opens.

Locate the song for which you want to change the metadata.

Right-click on the song's name to reach a sub-menu.

Click “Edit”.

Enter the updated metadata in the song artist, track title, album title, album artist and other fields.

Click “OK".
