How to Attach Office Panels to Walls
Office panels are useful for maximizing space in an office. You can create multiple cubicles and use a space with the greatest efficiency, which will save you money not just in rent or real estate costs, but also on electrical, heating and cooling bills. Most office panel systems are modular, and come with pre-mounted hardware for attachment to each other and office walls for stability, using slide-in systems or similar sleek methods to provide safe support for the panel system while saving space. Some older or cheaper models may rely on feet on the bottom of the panels for support. If you need to attach your panel to the wall for added support, or would perhaps have purchased them from a source with out the modular hardware, the process is simple and requires easily obtained hardware.

Securing Panels to Wall
-
1
Decide where you will be mounting the office panel to the wall. Consider your entire cubicle system (if applicable) before beginning to mount panels.
-
2
Attach four L-braces to the panel, on the left and right of the panel where it will attach to the wall, placing one foot from the top and bottom of the panel on each side. The L-braces should be mounted such that one leg of each brace is securely fastened to the panel with a 1 in. screw, leaving the other side of the brace so it will be flush with the wall.
-
-
3
Position the panel with the L-braces against the wall. Mark the wall with a pencil, through the holes in the L-brace flush to the wall. Remove panel from wall.
-
4
Drill holes for the anchors at the pencil marks. Check the instructions on the anchors to see the proper bit to use. Drill deep enough to insert the entire anchor into the hole, leaving just the lip of the anchor exposed and flat against the wall.
-
5
Insert the anchors in the four holes. Replace the panel against the wall, lining up the anchors with holes in the L-braces, now flush with the wall. Screw in the anchor screws through the holes in the L-brace into the anchors until the screws are tight and fully inserted.
