How to Download Music With Sansa Connect
The Sansa Connect is an MP3 player for digital audio playback. Downloading music with the Sansa Connect requires a computer. The computer can be used to retrieve the songs, and they can be downloaded to the Sansa Connect once it is physically connected to the computer. Downloading a song takes about five minutes, and the process doesn't require much experience--the instructions and device are user-friendly.

- USB connector cable
- Music purchased and downloaded to the computer

Plug the larger end of the USB connector cable into the Sansa Connect's docking port, located at the bottom of the device.

Secure the other end of the USB connector cable to the computer's USB inlet port.

Click the "Computer" or "My Computer" tab from the computer's system menu. The system menu can be viewed by clicking the Windows icon or Start menu tab.

Select the "Sansa Connect" icon in the Explorer Windows that will pop open, to view the device's internal memory folder and contents.

Open your music files from the direct file location and folder on your computer. In most cases, the computer's music folder is also listed within the system menu.

Click over the music files you want to download with the Sansa Connect. This action will highlight the music file's tab. Drag and drop the music files into the Sansa Connect internal memory folder.

Tips & Warnings
If you do not currently have music on your computer, music must be purchased and downloaded to your computer before you can add it to the Sansa Connect. Media player applications come with eStore applications, from which music can be purchased and downloaded.
The Sansa Connect can only process music in MP3, AAC and WMA format. Any other file types are not supported by this MP3 player.
