Facebook is a popular social networking site that lets you keep in touch with friends and family through status updates. These status updates can be just text. They also can contain photos that you have taken with your cellphone. You can use Facebook to easily and quickly share photos from the party or ball game.

      Open a browser and go to www.Facebook.com. Log in with your user name and password.

      Go to the top of the page and click the "Status Update" button. Click the small picture icon that appears on the left side. Click the "Upload a Photo" link on the left side.

      Hit the "upload via email" link that appears. Facebook will provide an email address that you can use to upload photos. Save this email address into your cell phone contact list. Most cell phones allow you to send photos to an email address, so use the Facebook address for that purpose.

      Take a photo on your cell phone. Use the phone's functionality to send on email to the email address you noted in Step 3. Note that the subject of the email will be the caption of the photo on Facebook.

  • If you have an iPhone, a Blackberry or Android phone, Facebook provides native applications that make it easier to apply tags, write captions and manage your photos on Facebook. Go to your phone's application store and search for "Facebook."

  • Your cell phone service provider may charge you to send emails.
