How to Create a Purple & Teal Eye Look for Night
Purple and teal combine in this look to make a soothing, oceanic masterpiece for the eye. This purple and teal eye works best for evening only, since it appears very dark in person. Any skin or eye color can wear this look. The lip and skin must appear flawless, so a tinted moisturizer will help immensely for those with problem skin. Wearing the hair loose and wavy will flatter this eye look. For shorter hair lengths, choosing a half updo will nicely complement this makeup look as well. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

1
Pat eye primer onto your eyelid with your fingers. Eye primer is a cream or gel used to prevent the creasing of eye shadow on the eyelid.
-
2
Pat a teal eyeshadow onto the inner 2/3 of the eyelid with a shadow brush.
-
-
3
Apply a navy eyeshadow onto the outer 2/3 of the eyelid. The navy will overlap with the teal; this won't pose any problem for the rest of the makeup application.
-
4
Sweep a purple eyeshadow into the crease using a blending brush. Use the brush to soften the color and meld it into the navy and the teal eyeshadows.
-
5
Use a liner brush to apply the teal eyeshadow onto the lower lash line.
-
6
Apply a black liquid eyeliner to the upper lash line. Take care to make the line neat.
-
7
Apply black mascara to upper eyelashes only. Wiggle the wand as you comb up your lashes. Wiggling the wand helps to prevent clumping.
