How to Create Your Own Storybook Character Costume
Step out of your favorite storybook in a costume you have designed yourself. Your storybook character costume can be a way for you to express the main idea of the story. Recreate one of the main characters, or choose a secondary character to focus on. Translate your ideas into a costume that will give people something to talk about. Design the main portion of your costume that portrays your character. This could be anything from a hat, to a cape to a twirly mustache. To make a hat, use a paper bag or fabric, or embellish a hat you already have.
