How to Repair Windows Installer in Vista
The Windows Installer present in the Windows Vista operating system is responsible for configuring software installations so they mesh well with the rest of the parts and pieces that make up Windows Vista. Where the installer becomes corrupt (or missing), the only viable solution is to repair its core files using the Windows Vista system repair function.
