1
Turn the water supply off to the sink.
-
2
Put the faucets and spigots into the sink by inserting them into the proper holes. Connect flexible sink tubes to the faucet fittings.
-
-
3
Tighten the tubes with a wrench. Notice that the copper tube that is attached to the faucet will receive water from the home's plumbing, whereas the plastic tube will deliver water to the spigot.
-
4
Connect the faucets to the sink by sealing them with the plastic O-rings provided or with plumber's putty. Mold the putty into a straight pencil shape, and circle it around the mounting location. Slide the tubes through the holes, and tighten the lock nut. The lock ring and washer will hold the faucet in place.
-
5
Connect the spigot by placing a lock ring into the center hole. Get your connections tight because you won't be able to reach them once you mount the sink.
-
6
Connect the plastic supply tubes to the "T" near the bottom of the spigot. Connect the water supply to the faucets.
-
7
Hook up the tailpiece to the drain by placing a ring of plumber's putty around the flange entering the sink from above. Insert the tailpiece, and tighten the lock ring. You have now connected the two faucets, the spigot and the tubes connecting them.
-
8
Lay a bead of caulk on the bottom base of the pedestal. Place the pedestal where you want it in the corner. The caulk will secure it to the floor. Put a bead of caulk around the top of the pedestal where it meets the bowl, and put the sink on it. The caulk will secure the bowl to the base. Plus you're bolting it to the wall to secure it even more firmly. Fit between the two walls so it fits snugly. Mark the mounting holes with a pencil.
-
9
Cut the drain parts and drain tubing with a hacksaw or a tubing cutter. Connect the drain pipes to the pipe coming from the wall with an adapter.
-
10
Use spring toggles to mount the sink to the walls. Push the toggle through the wall, and its wings will come out and lock onto the wall.
-
11
Open the stops, and test the pipe for leaks. If you feel water coming out onto your hand, tighten the pipes with a wrench.
