How to Uninstall Nero Scout
Nero Scout is a program bundled with other Nero software. Its primary use is to find and catalog every media file (e.g. audio, video and images) on your computer. Nero Scout will index all media files and newly downloaded media files are indexed automatically. As it is included with other Nero software and will use valuable computer resources, you may have no use for this. Uninstalling Nero Scout can be done without effecting other Nero programs you may have installed.

Download Winzip (see References). Click the EXE file to begin the installation. Agree to the terms of use.

Click "Next" twice. Wait until the program has been fully installed.

Download the Nero Uninstaller (see Resources). Save it to your desktop.

Right click the ZIP file. Select "Winzip." Click "Extract to Here." This will place the Nero Uninstaller on your desktop. Click the EXE to open the Uninstaller (no installation is required).

Place a check next to Nero Scout. Click "Clean." Restart your computer to ensure the deletion is complete.
