Gather all of the information you want to include on the flyer.
Open a word processing program and create a new document. Keep in mind that flyers are generally made on one 8 1/2 by 11 piece of paper (typical printer paper).
Begin by writing a heading or title that stands out. For advertising or business flyers, consider following the advice at BusinessKnowHow.com by using one or more of these words or phrases: "easy," "finally," "insider," "how to," "now you can," "discover," and "proven."
List the main points of your flyer in an easy-to-read way. Highlight titles and subtitles, but don't use all caps.
Place the most important information toward the top of the flyer. Put contact information at the bottom of the page.
Print out the flyer and distribute as needed.
