How to Get a Report of Your EIN Numbered Credit
If you are unable to monitor your business credit, your abilities for business expansion can be limited. Having access to your business credit report allow you to determine how well your business is operating and how it ranks amongst other businesses in the same industry and can give you an idea of your chances of approval for financing or lease purchases.

Contact the businesses that you deal with each month to find out to whom they report your payment history each month. In many cases you will need a certain number of businesses to report your monthly payments in order for a report to be established. You can either speak to the customer service representatives at the businesses you are working with or speak what the accounting or credit department.

Obtain your business credit report by going to Experian's website. The credit profile you purchase will be based on how much information you want to know about your business. For example, you can find out what your credit score is for the business or you can merely find out which businesses have recently checked your credit.

Request a DUNS number from Dun & Bradstreet. Dun & Bradstreet is a credit bureau for businesses. In many cases, your DUNS and EIN number are linked in establishing your business credit. Your DUNS number is similar to your EIN number and can be obtained by going to Dun and Bradstreet's website and/or contacting a Dun & Bradstreet representative. You will have this number within 30 days, and there is no cost.

Check your DUNS credit report and Paydex Score. Some businesses also report to Dun & Bradstreet each month. You can obtain your credit report from Dun & Bradstreet by going to its website.

Purchase credit builder or establish three to five businesses reporting to Dun & Bradstreet. In order to ensure an EIN numbered credit report from Dun & Bradstreet, you will either have to pay for credit builder, which creates a credit profile for your business or you need to verify if three to five businesses are reporting to Dun & Bradstreet each month. Credit builder can be purchased for a fee.

Tips & Warnings
It is optional for businesses to report your business payment history to Experian or Dun & Bradstreet. If you plan on establishing new business relationships ask them ahead of time if they report to either of the two credit bureaus.
