How to Convert MPEG Layer-3 to WAV
MP3 files, also known as MPEG layer-3 files, are a technology based on the audio coding from the "motion picture experts group." These files became extremely popular because of the way that they handled audio data. MP3 files are able to compress audio files while maintaining a decent sound quality, even though they do lose some original data during the compression process. WAV files, on the other hand, are typically larger in size because they compress audio data differently. You can convert MP3 files to WAV files using iTunes.
