How to Wake an eMachines Computer With Vista

EMachines, owned by Acer Inc., is a brand of desktop and laptop computers that run on the Windows operating system, including Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7. Like other computer brands, eMachines computers can be set to go in "sleep mode" to conserve energy. The "sleep mode" function shuts off the computer's hard drive and puts the system's power supply in a low-power mode. You have to "wake" the eMachine computer before you can perform functions with the Windows Vista operating system.
