How to Make Lavender and Jasmine Floral Bath Oil

Lavender and jasmine floral bath oil is a natural, homemade alternative to expensive store-brought products. This homemade bath oil moisturizes skin and rejuvenates the senses with soft, gentle essential oils. Lavender and jasmine floral bath oil makes a wonderful gift as well, especially when packaged in a personalized, reusable glass container.   • ½ cup sea salt
  • ½ cup Borax
  • 4 tbsp. baking soda
  • 10 drops lavender essential oil
  • 10 drops jasmine essential oil

      Combine the sea salt, Borax and baking soda in a small mixing bowl and stir.

      Add the lavender and jasmine essential oils to the bowl and stir for about 30 seconds to thoroughly combine.

      Using a potato masher, crush any large lumps in the mixture.

      Transfer the lavender and jasmine floral bath oil to a wide-mouth glass jar with a tight fitting lid. Store the bath oil in a cool, dark place between uses.

Tips & Warnings

  • To use, pour about 4 tbsp. of the mixture into a full bath of warm water. Soak in the tub for 30 minutes and rinse the skin with cool water for maximum benefit.

  • Avoid using or storing any type of homemade body care products in an aluminum container, as there is concern about heavy metals entering the final product.
