    Instructions

    Things You'll Need

    • Athletic Socks
    • Antiperpirants
    • Deodorants
      • 1

Use a product that contains both deodorant and antiperspirant. The deodorant only helps control odors, whereas the antiperspirant helps block sweat.

      • 2

Sprinkle cornstarch or talcum powder in problem areas to absorb moisture.

      • 3

Dress in layers so you can control your temperature, thereby reducing your body's need to sweat. Wear a white or light-colored hat to reflect sunlight on hot days, since your head is an important temperature-control point on the body.

      • 4

Wear natural fabrics such as wool, silk and cotton that allow air to circulate around your body easily.

      • 5

Drink plenty of fluids and stay fit. Fluids and a fit body help regulate your temperature and reduce sweating.

      • 6

Relax as much as possible using regulated breathing, yoga or meditation. This can reduce stress, a perspiration trigger.

    Tips & Warnings

    • Cotton socks and foot antiperspirants can minimize foot sweat.

    • Cotton panties help to prevent sweating, too.

    • If you perspire even when you're relaxed and the temperature is cool, see your doctor'it could be a sign of an underlying health problem.

I use to sweat when the air conditioner was even on....a good tip is since baby powder stops wetness and odor..just put on your usual deoderant and then sprinkle baby powder on a tissue and pat under each arm, but dont do this if your wearing a dark shirt

During puberty I noticed that my under arms would start to get wet for no apparent reason. Once I noticed that my shirt was wet, it made me nervous to be around people and I would sweat more. I stumbled upon Certain Dri at the store and gave it a shot. The next day I went to work and was astounded when I checked my underarms! They were dry all day. My confidence hit the roof.
