How to Choose a Ping Pong Paddle

A good paddle can help a player improve his ping pong game.

Ping pong is one of the fastest games out there, and it requires good focus, speed, reflexes and energy. Another thing you need to win this game is a good paddle.

Instructions

1. Go to your nearest sports store or department store and go to the table tennis or ping pong section.

2. Find a paddle that is lightweight and coated with at least 1/10 inch of rubber.

3. Make sure the paddle's rubber is firmly glued around all the edges. Nothing is worse than having a paddle lose its rubber, which will mean losing its bounce.

4. Make sure the paddle is not made out of plastic. Plastic will not hold up as well as wood. Buy one made of cedar or oak.
