How to Add Beads to Hair
Add beads to hair for a fun summer look, a decorative accent, or a fun kids' party activity. You can bead simple braids or even add tiny beads to just a few strands of hair at a time. Choose colorful pony beads for children or delicate glass beads for a more formal look. Wooden and metal beads can also be used in the hair. Select beads for your hair. Choose larger pony beads, wooden beads or pretty glass beads if you plan to bead a larger section of hair or add beads to small braids. Opt for tiny seed beads for a more delicate look with hair beading.

Brush hair well to remove knots. Plan to put beads into clean, dry hair for the best result.

Place the hair beads onto the handle of the floss threader. Arrange the beads in the order you would like them from the scalp down toward the end of the hair.

Choose a small section of hair. Gather 6 to 10 strands of hair if you are working with seed beads, or approximately a 1/4-inch section of hair or small braid for pony beads. Braid the hair if desired and secure the braid with a small amount of hair gel.

Pass the hair through the loop on the floss threader to add beads to hair. Use the threader to pull the hair through the beads. Place a small rubber band just below the beads or add a drop of glue if you are using seed beads.

Tips & Warnings
Seed beads are glued into the hair and will need to be snipped out; however, they are placed on only a few strands of hair, so the damage to your hair is minimal.

GREAT TIP! if you braid your hair a good tip is to hock earring into your braids & if you use beads loop the eye of the bed with a small hair rubber band and tie the bead in that way! -cheers
