How to Program a Magnavox VCR
Though VCRs have mostly become obsolete because of digital recording and video-on-demand services, the low cost of VHS tapes and VCR units makes them an appealing option. Magnavox produces DVD/VCR combo players that take up less space in your home-entertainment system and still afford you the same functionality. Programming recording times on a Magnavox VCR is a simple task that can be accomplished all through the front panel of the unit.

Tips & Warnings
Set the record time to start slightly before the scheduled program and to end slightly after. This will make sure you record the beginning and end in case there is an overlap in television scheduling.
In the event of a power failure or if the VCR is unplugged for more than 30 seconds, all stored timer programs will be erased.
