How to Get Lipstick Out of Mouth Wrinkles

Full, colorful, kissable lips are a desire of many women. Lipstick is the primary makeup tool used to give lips this desired effect. However, as we age those fine lines and wrinkles appear, even around our lips. These fine lines and wrinkles around the mouth lend themselves to lipstick bleeding or feathering. Lipstick bleeding, lip color sliding into mouth creases and wrinkles, can be embarrassing. Lipstick bleeding can be fixed.

Things You'll Need

• mirror or mirrored compact
• lip balm
• cotton swabs

Instructions

Cleaning up Lipstick Bleeds

1. Go to a mirror or pull out a compact.

2. Take out your lip balm and cotton swabs.

3. Coat a cotton swab with your lip balm.

4. Smile wide to stretch out your lip wrinkles and lines.

5. Gently glide the lip balm coated, cotton swab across the outline of your lips. Repeat steps three through five until all lipstick is removed from the lip lines and wrinkles.

• According to Cosmetic Corps, choosing to wear a matte or permanent lipstick over a lip gloss or sheer lipstick will help prevent lipstick bleeding.

• Lip glosses and sheer lipsticks will glide into lip lines and wrinkles so stick to lighter shades of lip gloss and sheer lipsticks to avoid lipstick feathering.
