How to Wash a Fitted Cap
Washing a fitted hat will vary depending on the type of material and the condition of the hat. In most cases, a fitted hat can only be washed several times before drooping occurs. While there are ways to prevent the fitted cap from becoming too misshapen, it is impossible to wash a fitted hat in a washing machine or dishwasher without some damage. The best option for protecting the shape and integrity of the fitted cap, is to always spot clean the fitted hat and avoid submerging it completely under water. Does this Spark an idea?

4
Treat the stain with a stain remover or stain fighter. Purchase a stain remover at your local grocer in the detergent aisle. Look for an easy to use product with a nozzle for easy handling and application.
-
5
Allow the stain fighter to treat the stain. Wait the required treating time (see the product for application times and instructions). Do not scrub or agitate the area where you have applied the stain fighter.
-
6
Use a damp cotton cloth to remove the stain removing agent and lift the stains from the fitted cap. Blot the area with the damp cotton cloth, but do not aggressively rub the area. Rinse the cloth to eliminate buildup of the cleaning agent as you remove final traces of it from the fitted cap.
