How to Use IRC on a Proxy
If you are someone who enjoys privacy when using Internet Relay Chat (IRC), one of the things you can use is a proxy server. A proxy server is a server you can connect your IRC program to. The server then basically acts as a middleman, allowing you to connect to any IRC network, but not revealing anything personal about you, such as an IP address.
