Instructions

    • 1

Wash as you normally would your prefold or flat cloth diaper, or whatever light-colored/white cotton piece of clothing out of which you are trying to remove a stain.

    • 2

Find a spot outside, under bright sunlight where you can hang dry your diaper or clothing. If you can lay the item out flat that's great! If not, just hang it from a line or hanger.

    • 3

Apply lemon juice to the stain you are trying to remove. You do not have to drench the stain, but wet it thoroughly.

    • 4

Leave your diaper or clothing in the sun until completely dry. After the diaper or clothing has dried, the stain should be gone!

    • 5

Wash your diaper or clothing again to remove lemon juice residue and/or oil.

Tips & Warnings

  • Do your laundry at a time of day that will allow you to maximize the sun's bright rays.

  • Place your diaper or clothing in direct sun light.

  • Sunlight is a natural bleach and disinfectant so utilize this natural power source to dry all your laundry!
