How to Make a Fan With Grade 2 Paper
In a pinch, a paper fan can cool you off on a hot day. This simple craft can be made out of any type of paper, including glossy Grade 2 photo paper. The added thickness will make for a more sturdy fan and will, therefore, be able to create a stronger breeze.
Instructions
-
-
1
Fold the paper one inch in from a shorter side, making a one-inch strip of paper lying on top of the rest of the paper. Crease the paper with your fingernail.
-
2
Fold this inch-long strip back behind the paper in an accordion fold, creasing again.
-
-
3
Continue to fold even, one-inch wide strips back and forth in accordion folds until you reach the end of the paper.
-
4
Cut off any excess paper that does not fit within the last one-inch fold.
-
5
Fold one inch of paper from the bottom of the fan to the side, creating a handle. Staple this folded edge to itself to hold in place.
