One important feature of the Norstar is the date and time feature. You can change the date and time right from the main phone display.

Instructions

1. Plug in the Norstar phone and make sure the service is hooked up. It should have a dial tone when you pick it up.

2. Hit "Feature" and press * * 266344.

3. Type in the default password: 266344. The phone display will show you the configuration menu.

4. Hit "Next," and the menu will say "General Admin."

5. Hit "Show," and the menu will say "Sys Speed Dial."

6. Hit "Next," and the menu will say "Names."

7. Hit "Next," and the menu will say "Time and Date."

8. Hit "Show," and the menu will show you the default time.

9. Hit "Next" to see the default date.

10. Hit "Change" twice and enter in the correct year.

11. Hit "Next" and then "Change." Type in the month.

12. Hit "Next" and then "Change." Type in the day. The phone is now programmed with the correct date.
