How to Obtain a Home ADT Security Sign

ADT security is a leader in home and business security monitoring. Having your home security system monitored can deter burglars and a prominently displayed ADT security sign is the best way to let intruders know that your home is being monitored. You may want to place several signs at various locations around your home. In order to obtain ADT signs, you must have a monitoring contract with ADT; obtaining ADT signs requires following a few simple steps.

Things You'll Need

• ADT contract
• Address, phone number and name on contract
• Your secret password

Instructions

1. Call ADT at 1-800-ADT-ASAP (1-800-238-2727).

2. Press "1" after the "Welcome to ADT" announcement begins.

3. Enter the 10-digit phone number on your account when prompted.

4. Give the ADT representative your name, address, secret password and any other information they request. They ask for this information to verify your identity.

5. Tell the ADT representative you would like a replacement sign. ADT allows all home accounts two replacement signs each year free-of-charge.

Tips & Warnings

• ADT calls their signs “yard signs.” They will mail a new sign to you, or an ADT representative will come by your home and drop it off. ADT will also provide you with decals to affix to your windows and doors.
