How to Update iPhone Applications With iTunes

iPhone applications are a constantly evolving technology. You can use iTunes to manage the applications on your iPhone and automatically search for updates. When you see that one of your applications has a new update, you can connect your iPhone to iTunes easily transfer the updated applicatio, making sure you stay current with all your iPhone programs.

Instructions

1. Connect your iPhone to your computer with the USB cord it came with.

2. Open iTunes if it does not open automatically when your iPhone is connected.

3. Click on the name of the iPhone from the iTunes source list on the left side of the screen.

4. Click the "Applications" tab at the top of the window.

5. Check the applications you would like to have iTunes update on your iPhone by checking the boxes next to their names in the application list. You can also change the application layout on your iPhone's screen with the boxes on the right.

6. Click "Update" in the lower-left corner of the screen. Wait for the update to finish, then press the "Eject" button to disconnect your iPhone.
