Camera Raw

As digital photography increased in popularity among professional photographers, an increasing number of them began using an unprocessed file format called camera raw, which provides the photographer more options after the image is taken. In 2003, Adobe created a plug-in for Photoshop that enabled photographers to open camera files directly in Photoshop. Once the image is opened in Photoshop, the photographer has the ability to process the raw image to capture the desired effects without relying on the camera's limited ability for the results.

Instructions

  1. Open Directly from Photoshop
